as of today, November 2, 2026, Clatter Editor is offline. If you go to editor.clatterlabs.com, you'll find a note saying it's no longer available instead of the editor. It will stay offline for at least the next two years. We know. We only just put it on the products page. Why We're a small studio, and we'd rather do a few things properly than a lot of things halfway. Over the past few weeks, most of our time has gone into the tools developers actually use with us every day: Line CLI, the Cosmos Agent API and Code Buckets. Clatter Editor didn't get the same attention, and a cloud IDE that gets half our attention isn't one we want you building on. So instead of letting it drift, we're turning it off cleanly and saying so. What happens to your projects • Clatter Editor never stored your projects on our servers. Projects, files and settings lived in your own browser's local storage on editor.clatterlabs.com. We don't hold a copy, so there's nothing on our side to delete, sell or lose. • That also means we can't send you a copy. We have no server side export to offer. • Your files are most likely still in your browser, on the device where you used the editor, unless you've cleared your browsing data or used a private window. Today's offline page doesn't read or erase them. • If you pushed a project to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket from the editor, that copy is in your own repository and isn't affected at all. If you have work in Clatter Editor that you need back, contact us at support.clatterlabs.com and tell us which browser you used. We'll help you get the files out of your browser. What isn't affected • Your Clatter Labs account. You can still sign in everywhere. • Line CLI, the Cosmos Agent API, Code Buckets, the Console and the developer docs. All of them keep running as usual. • Your credits and billing. Clatter Editor was free, so there's nothing to refund. What's next "At least two years" is honest, not a teaser. We don't have a secret Editor 2 lined up. We'll see what we do with the tools coming next, and if an editor makes sense again one day, you'll hear it from us here first. Thanks to everyone who opened a project in Clatter Editor, tried it, poked at it, and told us what broke. It helped, even if it doesn't look that way today. The Clatter Labs team
