Starting November 3, 2026, Clatter Labs services are no longer available in 17 countries or over the Tor network. This covers everything we run: the website, Docs, Help Center, Console, the Model API, the Agent API, Code Buckets, Line CLI and Cosmos. Why we did this Over the past period we received thousands, and on many days millions, of requests every day from these countries specifically. A large share of that traffic was not people using our products. It was denial of service attacks, injection and intrusion attempts, and automated bots, at a level far beyond anything normal. We're a small team. Every hour spent fighting that traffic was an hour taken away from the developers who actually use Clatter Labs, and it put the stability of the whole platform at risk. Blocking at the edge was the only way to keep our services fast and safe for everyone else. This decision is final. We're sorry to the real developers and users in these countries who get caught up in it. The countries • Afghanistan • Bangladesh • Belarus • Brazil • China • Cuba • Indonesia • Iran • Libya • Nigeria • North Korea • Pakistan • Russia • Sudan • Syria • Ukraine • Vietnam • The Tor network What this means • Requests from these locations are refused before they reach our services. • Using a VPN, proxy or other tool to get around the block isn't allowed, and accounts that do it may be suspended. • We're also adding detection for accounts whose IP address keeps jumping between locations.
